As of Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at 2:30pm., we have no more extra tickets for Graduation, June 1st, 2013. All extra tickets have been requested. Science Hill High School’s 2013 Graduation Ceremony will be streamed live from Freedom Hall Civic Center beginning at 9:45 a.m. on Saturday, June 1. The graduation ceremony will be video-taped and aired at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 8 and 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 9 on Government Information Cable Channel – JCTV. New Announcements: During the summer months beginning June 3 – July 22 the administrative main office (located on the John Exum Parkway side of the school) will be closed. Please use the Attendance Office located near the Auditorium and Old Gym. Office hours are 7am – 3:30pm. Early Dismissals for Friday, 24 May- If you need to be off on Friday, 24 May for any reason your parent needs to notify the attendance office by Wednesday, 22 May by 2:30 p.m. This includes the RSVPs for the Senior Tea. We will not be receiving phone calls in the attendance office Friday the 24th. Early dismissal notices will be issued on Thursday, 23 May for Friday the 24th. Senior Tea dismissals will be handed out at the Senior Breakfast on Friday morning. Students participating in the 3 on 3 tournament during Activities Day need to have entry fee turned into SGA at the cafeteria’s kiosk by Tuesday to be eligible to participate. The Choral Department would like to sincerely thank everyone who had a part in making this year's SprinGala the best ever! Once again we proved that Science Hill has the most talented students and the greatest audience you'll find anywhere. Mark your calendar now: FALL FEST - SEPTEMBER 20 & 21. Please be reminded that, in addition to the many scholarship presentations Friday at Senior Awards day, there will also be a number of recognitions. Those being recognized will include Athletic Honor Students, Tennessee Scholars, National Merit Finalists, and students entering the Military. Make plans to join in the celebration of success on this day. Attention students who have registered for the AP chemistry for the fall semester need to pick up information on summer packets from Mr. Morrell in room 531. This is a graded, mandatory assignment! There will be summer reading orientation meetings for AP students on May 30th and 31st at 1:00 p.m. in room 515. This is not a mandatory meeting, but it would behoove you to be there. If you can’t make one of the meetings, you need to see Coach Price. ATTENTION SENIORS: 65 seniors still have outstanding obligations. Your diploma will be held until these obligations are clear. The list is posted in the Topper Student Center behind Attendance or you can email ehlschlagers@jcschools.org. Obligations can be cleared between the hours of 7:00 am and 11:30 am with Susan Ehlschlager. Want to win CASH???! Then enter the Ultimate Frisbee Club’s Distance Throw Challenge! Just pay $1, and throw the Frisbee the farthest down the Frisbee Field and win 50% of all money collected! Come on down to the field to enter. Contest runs from 11:30 to 12:00 on Activities Day.
