Over 200 years ago, brothers Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm began to gather stories throughout Europe, stories you would be familiar with today. Stories such as “Rapunzel”, “Cinderella”, and Snow White were part of their collection of over 200 stories. After criss-crossing Europe to find these tales, the brothers were on the brink of bankruptcy and deportation, when one of them said, “Hey, instead of just gathering these stories, why don’t we put them in a book?” And the rest is publishing history!! The Science Hill High School Showstoppers will be performing “The Brothers Grimm Spectaculthon” this Friday and Saturday, March 24th and 25th in the Science Hill Auditorium. Tickets are only $5.00 and can be purchased from Showstopper team members or at the door on the nights of the performances. Don’t miss out on 200 years of history in the making!
